A new section has been added to the BalticBeat project website, linking to our cross-border platform for stakeholders: https://energycomm.ug.edu.pl/

The platform serves as a practical tool supporting the development of energy communities by providing access to knowledge, enabling collaboration, and facilitating the exchange of experiences among partners and stakeholders.

This is just the beginning – the tool will be continuously developed and expanded with new features and resources. We encourage you to visit the platform and follow its further development!

BALTICBEAT at Annual Event 2026 in Palanga

The BALTICBEAT project team participated in the Annual Event 2026 of the Interreg South Baltic Programme, held on 23 September 2026 in Palanga, Lithuania. The event brought together around 100 participants, including representatives of 35 projects implemented under the programme.

The event opened with a welcome address by Mr Šarūnas Vaitkus, Mayor of Palanga, followed by remarks on the future of the Programme from Mrs Monika Jurczyk, Representative of the Managing Authority (Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy of Poland), and an update on its current status from Mrs Małgorzata Skolmowska, Head of the Joint Secretariat. The workshop was moderated by colleagues from the Joint Secretariat, Katarzyna Sempołowicz-Lipska (Communication and Capitalisation Officer) and Belén Benzaquén (Project Officer).

This year’s event focused largely on making use of project results and increasing their long-term impact. An important part of the programme was a workshop dedicated to capitalisation, understood as the further use, dissemination and development of project results. Participants worked on practical ways of planning activities that would enable the solutions developed through projects to continue to be used after the projects have ended.

BALTICBEAT was also among the six projects invited to take part in the Projects Karaoke session. This part of the event provided an opportunity to present the project and its key results in a concise format, as well as to exchange experiences with other teams implementing Interreg South Baltic projects. The format placed particular emphasis on presenting results clearly, in a way that facilitates their uptake by other partners and can encourage cooperation between projects.

For the BALTICBEAT team, the meeting in Palanga was also an opportunity to speak with representatives of other projects and learn about tools supporting the planning of activities related to the use of project results. The experience gained will inform further BALTICBEAT activities, particularly in relation to disseminating project results and ensuring their continued use after the project has ended.
