On 18–20 March 2026, the BalticBeat project was presented during the 2nd edition of the PowerConnect Energy Fair, held at AmberExpo in Gdańsk – the largest energy sector event in northern Poland. The fair brought together key stakeholders from across the energy industry, creating a space for knowledge exchange, networking and showcasing innovative solutions supporting the energy transition.

 

The participation of the BalticBeat project in PowerConnect provided an excellent opportunity to establish valuable contacts with representatives of the energy sector and to exchange knowledge on renewable energy solutions and their implementation at the local and regional levels. Particular attention was given to the WorldConnect zone, where participants had the opportunity to explore international perspectives on the energy transition. Representatives of organisations and companies from countries such as Norway, Belgium and the United Kingdom shared their experiences, presenting good practices and innovative approaches in the field of renewable energy. These exchanges underscored the importance of cross-border cooperation.

 

Another notable aspect of the event was the involvement of Prof. Sylwia Mrozowska, Head of the BalticBeat project, who served as a member of the jury of the PowerConnect Award 2026. This prestigious competition, organised as part of the PowerConnect Fair and Conference, recognises innovative solutions and leaders contributing to the energy transition.

 

The presence of the BalticBeat project at PowerConnect confirms its active role in supporting the development of renewable energy and strengthening cooperation between stakeholders in the South Baltic region.
