On October 29-30, 2025, representatives of the BALTICBEAT project took part in the EUSBSR Annual Forum 2025 “Securing the Future: Stronger Together – Building Stability in Times of Uncertainty” in Sopot. This year’s Forum focused mainly on issues related to building joint resilience to geopolitical, economic, and social threats by the countries of the Baltic Sea Region. Viewed through the lens of “Securing the Future,” the forum addressed the EUSBSR’s current priorities: “Save the Sea,” “Connect the Region,” and “Increase Prosperity.” 

 

We are proud that the BALTICBEAT Project Manager moderated the Forum’s Second Plenary Session entitled “Powering the Future: Energy security in a shifting world.” The session was devoted to energy security and green transformation in the Baltic Sea region.

The discussions and networking during the Forum were very valuable. The next forum will be held in Tallinn next year.
