🎉 BALTICBEAT at the 3rd Energy Communities Congress – advancing local energy resilience together! ⚡🌱

On June 9–10, 2025, the BALTICBEAT project team had the privilege to participate in the 3rd Energy Communities Congress in Białka Tatrzańska – the leading Polish event dedicated to the development of citizen energy and local government collaboration.

Our team included Sylwia Mrozowska, Project Manager, Jolanta Mrozek – Kwiatkowska, Project Coordinator, and Barbara Kijewska, project team member from the University of GdaĹ„sk, alongside our international partners Ulrik Jorgensen from Energy Communities Denmark (Energifællesskaber Danmark) and John Andersen from Roskilde University.

đź’¬ Our project manager, Sylwia Mrozowska, moderated one of the key expert debates:
“Partnerships between local governments, business and RES – how to build them effectively”, with dynamic discussions on how to create successful and sustainable public-private energy partnerships.

🌍 We were thrilled to engage with international leaders in the citizen energy movement. A special thank you to Lina Tsaltampasi from WEnCoop Energy Community for your inspiring contribution 🙏🙂

🌿We were also proud to be represented internationally as well – Ulrik Jorgensen from Energy Communities Denmark, a BALTICBEAT team member, shared insights from Danish energy communities.

🔧 The two days were filled with insightful panels, hands-on training sessions, and countless inspiring conversations. We’re leaving with new knowledge, strong connections, and fresh motivation to keep building a resilient, community-driven energy future in the Baltic region.

Huge thanks to the organizers – KIGSE (Polish Chamber of Energy Communities) – for creating such a meaningful space for exchange and collaboration! 🤝
