We are pleased to announce that as part of Work Package 2 – Capacity Building Programme to Support Local Communities in Local Transition Processes, we have successfully conducted two pilot trainings in Poland.
On March 3, a workshop was held at the Szemud Municipality Office as part of the BALTICBEAT project. The second pilot workshop was held at the Sierakowice Municipality Office on March 13. These events were a part of the activity: Implementation of testing training courses based on the developed training programme in Lithuania, Poland, Sweden, and Denmark.
During the workshops, participants discussed topics such as:
✅ Challenges and opportunities in developing energy communities
✅ Optimization of the municipality’s energy needs
✅ The vision of a circular economy
✅ Energy billing principles within energy cooperatives
✅ Technological and legal aspects of biogas plant development
